Rhinos 7 – Inmates 6 (10
innings – Rhino Reserve): A see-saw match with each team hitting a pair
of homers and tallying nine hits. Rather than flaunting power the Rhinos played
wuss ball and scored the game-winner in the last of the
10th on a squeeze bunt by Marisnick.
Inmates 9 – Rhinos 4 (Rhino
Reserve): Rizzo hit a grand salami while Pineda tossed a complete
(albeit ugly) game for the easy Inmate win.
Inmates 3 – Rhinos 0 (Rhino Reserve): A. Jones drove in a
pair of runs while four Inmate pitchers threw a shutout.
Inmates 3 – Rhinos 2 (Baptist Bowl): A pitchers’ duel saw
the Rhinos collect only two hits. JMart drove in all three Inmate runs.
Rhinos 6 – Inmates 5 (Baptist Bowl): Braun and Bryant both
hit three-run taters and an Inmate rally in the bottom of the 9th
came up a run shy as the Horned Wonders held on for the win.
Rhinos 8 – LDMF 0 (Baptist Bowl): Brett Lawrie committed
three errors in the return of the LDMF. Quintana pitched a complete game
travesty for a total Inmate team loss.
Rhinos 2 – LDMF 0 (Baptist Bowl): Inmate suck-city redux.
Inmates 13 – Rhinos 3 (Rhino Reserve): The Inmates came out
of their two-game slumber with five homers to crush the Rhinos.
Inmates 9 – Rhinos 1 (Rhino Reserve): Jason Castro hit a
pair of homers, including a grand slam, as the Inmates continued their
offensive onslaught. Three Inmate pitchers held the Rhinos to four hits.
Rhinos 4 – Inmates 2 (Rhino Reserve): A close game, with
Altuve getting caught stealing twice on 1-15 rolls. Shit.
Rhinos 5 – Inmates 3 (Rhino Reserve): A close game, with
Altuve getting caught stealing once again on a 1-18 roll. Shit again.
Inmates 1 – Rhinos 0 (Baptist Bowl): In a game that featured
a grand total of three hits, a Cargo solo jack in the 6th proved to
be the game-winner. Archer pitched a CG gem for the Rhinos, while seven Inmate
pitchers allowed only a harmless single to Bryant.
Rhinos 8 – Inmate 4 (Baptist Bowl): A close game was blown
open by two-run homers by Bryant and Gordon. Altuve got caught stealing again.
Inmates
2 – Rhinos 1 (Baptist Bowl):
Syndergaard pitched a two-hit gem, but one of the hits was a two-run tater by
Cespedes.
