Nads 4, Goofs 1

Steve Pearce had a great series for the NADS with 4 dingers in 5 games
 
Game 1 - Shortstop Alexei Ramirez hit one over the fence and had 3 RBI as the 
SUPER GOOFS defeated the NADS 3 to 2 at Kauffman Stadium.
 
Game 2 - Designated hitter Steve Pearce hit a homerun and had 2 RBI as
the NADS beat the SUPER GOOFS by the score of 6 to 3
 
Game 3 - Designated hitter Steve Pearce rocketed 2 homeruns including a three run walk off and had 5 RBI as the NADS defeated the SUPER GOOFS in 10 innings 7 to 4 
  
Game 4 - Doug Fister(1-8) and Hyun-Jin Ryu(0-1) dueled it out with Fister and the NADS coming out on top of the SUPER GOOFS by the score of 3 to 1.
  
Game 5 - Alex Rios had 2 base hits and Chris Tillman came through with a solid 9 innings as the NADS beat the SUPER GOOFS 5 to 1. SUPER GOOFS 
lost it in the 1st inning when the NADS did all their damage as they scored 5 runs on 4 base hits.  That was all Tillman(4-4) needed.  After the 4th inning, neither team was able to score. 

Nads 3, Buckeyes 2

Game 1 – Nads win 7-0 Kole Calhoun cracked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI and C.J. Wilson allowed 2 hits while shutting out the Buckeyes 7 to 0.
  
Game 2 – Buckeyes win. Scott Feldman(6-1) and Doug Fister (0-7) dueled it out with Feldman and the Buckeyes coming out on top of the NADS by the score of 2 to
1.
  
Game 3 – NADS win.Brian Dozier ripped 2 homeruns at Kauffman Stadium as the NADS beat the Buckeyes 8 to 5. David Ortiz blasted a Grand Slam to keep the Buckeyes close.
  
Game 4 – NADS win. Chris Tillman completed the game without help from the bullpen as the NADS defeated the Buckeyes 4 to 2 at Kauffman Stadium.
 
Game 5 – Buckeyes win. Travis Wood(2-1) and Wade Miley(2-3) treated the fans to a fine pitching duel.  The Buckeyes eventually emerged as victors over the NADS by the score of 2 to 1.

Goofs 4, Warpigs 1

May 17th Goofs win 8-5 Span lead with 4 hits and Johnson ally-ooped 3 runs and Yu (not you) won.
May 18th Goofs win 6-0 Ryu had a 4 hit shut out. Alvarez knocked it out of the park.
May 19th Goofs win 5-1 Span had 3 hits. Castro drove in some good runs. Lohse win. Street saves.
Aug 11th Goofs win 4-1 Ryu wins again with Benoit getting the save. Span (who seems to be the Porkmaster this first half of the series) with another 2 hits. Ramirez drove in another 2 runs.
Aug 12th Pigs finally win 7-2 Wheeler comes back with a vengeance. Crawford & Molina each drove in 3 runs.

Zaps 4, Warpigs 1

Game 1- Wily Peralta shut out the Zaps and outpitched Max Scherzer through seven innings, but Chase Utley singled in a run to tie the game in the bottom of the 8th, and Miggy won it for the good guys with a solo shot in the 11th.
Game 2- The Zaps hit a solo shot in each of the first three frames and then Jose Bautista hit a two-run tater in the 4th to back up Cole Hamels complete game 5-0 shutout.
Game 3- Adam Wainwright went 8 2/3 shut out innings and Casey Fien got the last out in a 1-0 whitewash of the Zap's bats.
Game 4- Miggy, Raburn, and Bautista hit back-to-back-to-back home runs in the first inning to set the tone for a seven tater outburst in a 13-4 Zaps win.
Game 5- The Zaps score 13 runs in the first inning and win going away 17-4.

DVs 3, Sidewinders 2

DVs and Snakes hook up for the 5 games at the DVs park via netplay. Here are the results:
Game 1:  DVs win a 3-2 pitcher’s duel between Latos and Lester.
Game 2: DiamondVision ride a two run homer in the bottom of the 8th by Leonys Martin to a 3-1 win
Game 3: Sidewinders rip Cashner and coast to a 11-3 win
Game 4: DVs hammer Bartolo Colon and relax in a 9-3 win.
Game 5: Sidewinders get out the bats and pound Latos in a 11-3 blowout.
Interestingly Snakes outscore the DVs 28 to 21, while every game saw a team score 3 runs.

Warpigs 3, Tweakers 2

Games played via NetPlay.

4/3 @ The BallPork - Tweakers win 4-3. Ben Zobrist went 3-5 with a homer and a stolen base. The Warpigs came back from a 4-0 deficit to make it close, but couldn't complete the comeback. Gio Gonzalez got the win and Tanner Scheppers the save. Wily Peralta (2-7) took the loss.

4/4 @ The BallPork - Tweakers win 4-1. King Felix lost his perfect game and no-hitter in the 5th inning, but along with 2 relievers, held the Pigs to 3 hits. In an odd finish, Dane Delarosa got pinch hitter Jose Fernandez to bounce into a double play to end the game and earn the save. Zack Wheeler (0-2) took the loss.

4/5 @ The BallPork - Warpigs win 6-3. Adam Wainwright (4-2) gave up 3 runs on 4 hits in the first inning, but shut out the Tweakers on 3 singles the rest of the way. Cody Ross tied the game at 3 with a 2-out single in the 5th, and Yadier Molina hit a 2-out, 3-run homer off of Scheppers in the bottom of the 8th to win it.

5/15 @ The Hoover Dome - Warpigs win 11-3. The Pigs used the momentum from the last game to pound out a season high in hits (18) and runs (11). Wainwright (5-2) was the recipient of this rare burst of offense. Alejandro De Aza missed the cycle by just the homer, but scored 4 times on 3 hits and a walk.

5/16 @ The Hoover Dome - Warpigs win 3-0. The Pigs win their third game in a row on the arm of Stephen Strasburg (4-3), who went 8 innings and struck out 10. A.J. Pollock had 3 hits.

Inmates 8, Fungoes 6

Fungoes and Inmates rolled 14 games today at WTF:

Game 1:
Fungoes win 5-2.  Harvey picks up the win.  Robertson gets the save.  John Jaso hit a 2nd inning HR for the Fungoes.

Game 2:
Inmates win 7-1.  Holland goes 8 innings and allows 15 hits and takes the Ass kicking!  Hosmer hits the solo shot for the Fungoes only score!

Game 3:
Inmates win 3-2 as the Fungoes can't hold a 2-1 late lead.  Inmates score 2 in the 8th off of Robertson!  Robertson takes the loss.

Game 4:
Inmates win 5-3.  Fungoes blow another lead in the 8th as Robertson, Cishek and Perkins allow 4 runs in the inning. Get us the HELL out of the Baptist Bowl!!!!!

Game 5:
More of the same at WTF as the Inmates break open a close game with another 2 run 8th winning this one 4-1. Medlen takes the loss for the Fungoes.

Game 6:
Kershaw and Roark shut out the Inmates winning it 3-0 for the Fungoes.  Rajai Davis steals home in the 5th inning.

Game 7:
Price, Roark and Santos combine on a shutout as the Fungoes win this one 2-0.  Zimmerman hits a 2 run homer for the only scoring.

Game 8:
Back to the Baptist Bowl and another Inmate win.  Inmates win this one 3-1.  Price takes the loss for the Fungoes.

Game 9:
Fungoes finally score some runs and win 9-3.  Daniel Murphy gets the big hit smashing a Grand Slam in the 6th to put this one out of reach.  Harvey gets the win for the Fungoes.

Game 10:
Inmates hang on to win this one 4-3.  Medlen with the loss for the Fungoes.  

Game 11:
Back at WTF, Fungoes win 6-1.  Price picks up the win.  

Game 12:
Inmates beat up on Holland again winning this one 9-2.  

Game 13  DH #1:
Fungoes ride the arm of Kershaw to a 7-2 win.  Kershaw goes the distance in game one of the twin bill.  Zimmerman hits 2 homeruns for the Fungoes.

Game 14 DH #2:
Inmates get to Robertson again this time in the 7th scoring the only run of the contest.  Inmates win the game 1-0 and the series 8-6!  Rat$&#@!!!!!

Inmates beat up on the Fungoes by shutting down our hitters.  Trout was a dismal 9 for 50 in the series!

Wahoos 7, Goofs 3

April 8, Wahoos win 6-2 after scoring 4 in the eighth off Darvish.
April 9, Lohse and the Goofs win 4-2 thanks to 4 DPs.
May 20, Wahoos rally from 5-0 to win 9-8.
May 21, Wahoos leave bases loaded in the eighth and lose 8-5.
May 22, Wahoos hang on, 6-5.
July 1, Wahoos win, 4-1.
July 2, Wahoos jump out quick to a win 10-2.
July 3, Verlander outduels Darvish, 3-2.
Aug. 13, Victor Martinez hits go-ahead triple in the eighth for 6-5 Wahoos win. Martinez had zero triples for Detroit in 2013.
Aug. 14, Wahoos strand tying runs to lose 6-4.

Buckeyes 6, Wahoos 4

Buckeyes go 6 and 4 in 10 games played over at the Wahoos this evening. Wahoos will supply additional game details, but results as follows:

Goofs 5, Killer Bees 2

Goofs fight to win 5-2 for this series.

Game 1 Bees win 9-6, Lee bombs Ryu into submission.
Game 2 Goofs win 5-2 Span leads the charge for this win, marking his journey as the Bees ultimate nemesis.
Game 3 Goofs win 3-0 Castro got 3 hits to help aid the Goofs in their small victory
Game 4 Bees win 7-0 that was a ultra brutal shut out by Lincecum
Game 5 Goofs win 4-1 Lohse with another win and Benoit with another save just like in Game 3!
Game 6 Goofs win 4-0 another good rally by the Goofs.
Game 7 Goofs win 6-5 The whole crowd was on the edge of their seats. Alvarez made the 2 run game tying hit in the 9th, that ultimately led to Goofs winning in the 11th.

Bees take 3 of 5 at the Hive
