Tweeners 3, Drillers 2
From the Tweeners...
Tweeners decide to actually be competitive for a series. Lincecum is too tough in game one as we lose 5-2. In game 2, Jorge de la Rosa goes 7.2 strong innings in his first start of the year as Tweeners win 7-2; Haren surrenders 16 hits in a complete game loss. We move to the August series, and get another quality start from de la Rosa in game 3, but Haren is better and Drillers win 5-3. Tweeners then sweep the double-header to claim games 4 & 5. Joe Blanton fans 11 in 7.1 innings as we take the opener 5-1, and Lannan outpitches Parra for a 6-3 victory in the nightcap. Yee haw.
