Game 1 DVs 5 Zaps 4
Mike Moustakas hit one over the fence and had 2 RBI as the BRYAN DIAMONDVISION
bested the TRISTAN VIVAZAPASTAS 5 to 4 at DV Park by Viagra.
Alex Colome(4-2) contributed a pedestrian performance to earn the win.  He
surrendered 5 hits and 2 walks in 5 innings.  Colome whiffed an impressive
total of 8 TRISTAN batters.  TRISTAN had a chance to come back in the 9th but
they came up short.

Jeremy Jeffress recorded the save, his 23rd.  Corey Kluber(1-2) was the losing
pitcher.  He pitched 6 and 1/3 innings allowing 7 hits and no walks.

Game 2 - DVs 6 Zaps 2
Giancarlo Stanton blasted a homerun and had 2 RBI and Nathan Eovaldi hurled a
3 hitter as the BRYAN DIAMONDVISION beat the TRISTAN VIVAZAPASTAS by a score
of 6 to 2.
TRISTAN was unable to recover after BRYAN went ahead in the 3rd inning scoring
2 runners on 3 hits.  That scoring would be all that was needed.  BRYAN had
14 hits for the night.

Eovaldi(5-12) lasted until the end allowing 2 runs for the win. Francisco
Liriano(1-2) was charged with the loss.  He gave up 13 hits and 1 walk in 7
innings.

Game 3 Zaps 11 DVs 6
Francisco Liriano whiffed 10 batters as the TRISTAN VIVAZAPASTAS defeated the
BRYAN DIAMONDVISION 11 to 6 at DV Park by Viagra.
Andrew McCutchen was a thorn in the side of the hometown fans as he enjoyed a
fine day at their team's expense.  He popped a two-run clout over the fence
in the 1st inning, slapped a one-base hit in the 5th inning and doubled
knocking in a run in the 8th inning.  TRISTAN had 13 hits overall, while
BRYAN had 9.

Liriano(2-2) went 7 innings allowing 4 runs for the win. Bartolo Colon(8-10)
was tagged with the loss in relief.  He was pinned with the loss despite not
allowing an earned run in his 1 inning of work.

Game 4 Zaps 5 DVs 2
Zack Greinke allowed TRISTAN's manager to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete
game as the TRISTAN VIVAZAPASTAS defeated the BRYAN DIAMONDVISION by a score
of 5 to 2 at DV Park by Viagra.
Greinke(4-0) had a strong outing.  He allowed just 7 hits and 1 walk in 9
innings.  TRISTAN took care of BRYAN with no trouble in the bottom of the
9th.

Stephen Strasburg(8-10) ended up with the loss.  Although losing the contest,
he whiffed 8 batters in 5 and 1/3 innings.

Game 5
DVs 3 Zaps 1
At DV Park by Viagra, the BRYAN fans witnessed a great pitcher's duel.  Andrew
Cashner(4-5) finally bested his TRISTAN opposite, Max Scherzer(2-2), by the
score of 3 to 1.
BRYAN tallied 2 runs in the 2nd inning when they had 3 base hits.  Mike
Moustakas led off and he ripped a base-knock.  Albert Pujols was next to the
plate, but was promptly struck out.  Brandon Moss struck out, unable to help
the rally.  Joe Panik was up next and he doubled scoring a run.  Randal
Grichuk came to the plate and slapped a single scoring the final run of the
inning.  That was all Cashner needed.  BRYAN managed 7 hits in their victory.
Erasmo Ramirez gained credit for his 1st save.  Scherzer was the losing
pitcher.  While he was the losing pitcher, he still struck out 16 batters in
8 innings.

Wahoos 2, Drillers 2

Wahoos made the trip to Lewisville to roll 4!  Drillers won the two 2 at home.  It seems Driller hitters can only roll 1-6 HRs as we had only one tater in the 1-20 park and 5 HRs at home.

4 and Trout launched two taters.

Game Two-The Fungoes exploded for four runs in the 4th to take a 5-1
lead. The Zaps countered with four runs in the 7th. A Tomlinson triple

Trout’s two-out two-run tater in the top of the sixth proved the
difference as Harris nailed down his second save in as many games.

Game Four-The Zaps got one on with two outs in the bottom of the first,
and then used three hits and a walk to jump on Price early. After adding
another run in the 2nd Scherzer was able to limit the Fungoes bats to 2
runs, and the home town bullpen sealed the deal for a 4-2 win.

Game Five-The Fungoes jumped out to a 3-0 when they scored two in the
top of the third. The Zaps answered with one run in three of the next
four innings to tie it. In the top of the 8th  Trout singled, Zimmerman

Zaps 12, Drillers 2

Game One-The Zaps won 10-3 by pounding out fifteen hits led by a 5 for 5

run in seven innings and Giles and Ziegler held the home team scoreless
in the final two frames. Moreland’s two-run tater in the top of the 2nd

Game Three-The took game three 7-1. The big blow was Russell Martin’s
bases clearing double in the sixth. Hamels gave up one run over six
innings and Herrera pitched three scoreless innings of relief.

Game Four-The Zaps took game four 2-1. Bautista went 4 for 5 scoring
both runs. Corey Kluber gave up one run in 6 1/3 and four Zap relievers

Ziegler put up blanks in the 8th and 9th to complete the combined
shutout. Bautista walked and a Rasmus doubled plated him in the first to
put the Zaps ahead for good.

Game Six-The Drillers plated three runs in the first, but the Zap staff
blanked the visitors the rest of the way. Cutch powered the comeback
with a  solo shot and a two-run single that put the Zaps ahead 4-3 and
the pen made that score stand up.

Game Seven-Corey Kluber struck out 11 in  a six-hit, one run, complete
game. Buehrle did not pitch poorly, but a two-base error by Donaldson to
open the seventh set up a two-run rally that sealed the deal in a 6-1
win for the good guys.

Game Eight-Max Scherzer silenced the Drill bats for the third time in
the series in a 5-1 Zap win. The Drillers could not score more than one

looked back on the way to a 7-1 whitewash of the home team. Hamels and
Herrera held the Drillers to one run or less for the sixth time in nine
games. Goldschmidt and Canha had two-run bombs to pace the visitors.

Game 10-The Drillers finally broke through behind the stellar relief of
Casey Fien who tossed three innings of scoreless ball in reliev of
Buerhle five-inning, one-run effort. Donaldson’s two-rum bomb in the
fourth gave the Drillers a lead they would not give up.

Game 11-The Zaps torched Dallas Keuchel for 13 runs on 18 hits. Goldie
hit two taters, went 5 for 5, and drove in 8 to pace the Zap offense.

Ziegler put out the fire tossing scoreless frames in the 8th and 9th to
preserve a 6-5 win for the good guys.

double to give the Zaps a 3-2 win in the first game of the twin-bill.

Game 14-The Drillers romped in the finale 7-2. It was a one-run game
until the Drillers broke it open with three runs in the 6th to knock out
Liriano. The bottom part of the Drillers lineup did the damage as
Martinez, Rupp, and Andrus went 6-14 driving in four and scoring a couple.
