Standings Update 9/1/09

Three of the division winners have been settled, with the Warpigs in the BUD, the Buckeyes in the MFD, and the Sidewinders in the AWD having separated themselves from the pack. In the NERDD, the Drillers have a 4.5 game lead over the DVs, but the DVs have 35 games remaining - including 8 head to head with the Drillers. It will be interesting to see if the DVs can make those last 8 important or if this is to be known as the Halladay Fiasco.

The Wild Card teams are probably locked in as well. The Rhinos and Wahoos have emerged from a group of about 5 contenders and should get the 5th and 6th seeds in the post season.

Two teams have finished their seasons, and four more are down to fewer than 10 games remaining.
