Played vs CM at the BallPork.
Game 1 - Warpigs win 1-0 - The first 3 Pig batters in the bottom of the 1st singled, with the one by Yasmany Tomas plating Francisco Cervelli. It was the only run that would be scored in the game. Carlos Rodon (2-1) outdueled Steven Matz (2-8), allowing only 3 hits before getting late inning help from Raisel Iglesias, who earned his 7th save.
Game 2 - Nads win 8-5 - Kole Calhoun and Aledmys Diaz combined to go 5-7 with 6 RBI for the Wrinkled Pink. Jaime Garcia (5-7) got the win. Kevin Siegrist earned his 2nd save. Logan Forsythe homered for the Pigs.
Game 3 - Warpigs win 8-5 - Andrew Toles pinch hit a 2-run double off of reliever Dustin McGowan in the 6th inning to break a 3-3 tie. Adam Wainwright (5-7) went 6 innings to get the win. Michael Wacha threw the final 3 innings for his first save. Mitch Moreland hit his 2nd homer of the year.
Game 4 - Nads win 5-1 - Chris Tillman (5-5) was brilliant, scattering 3 hits and striking out 14 in 8.2 innings. Hector Rondon got the final out for his 5th save. Trayce Thompson homered for the visiting Ball Boys.
Game 5 - Warpigs win 4-2 - The Nads led 2-0 and Marcus Stroman was cruising along in the bottom of the 6th, but after the first two batters were out, Hunter Pence and Yuli Gurriel singled, bringing a surprising trip to the showers for Stroman. Kevin Siegrist was called on to scare off the announced pinch hitter (Mallex Smith) and face the new pinch hitter Francisco Cervelli. Cervelli got the Pigs on the board with a single. Siegrist was then called back for McGowan. Toles pinch hit and drew a walk to load the bases, bringing up Moreland. Mitch found McGowan's card for a 3-run triple (missed the 1-16 granny) to give the Pigs the lead, 4-2. Anthony Desclafani (5-3) begged for the chance to finish what he started, earning the complete game victory. He scattered 4 hits, walking no one. Todd Frazier homered for the Nads.
