6/21 - Tweeners 2, Buckeyes 1. In a thriling finish the Logan County Tweeners pulled off the win over the
Mansfield Buckeyes by a score of 2 to 1 at The Hoover Dome.
Logan County won the game with a run in the bottom of the 9th inning.
Jonathan Schoop drew a walk. Derek Dietrich next to the plate and he tripled
giving Logan County the win as 36,813 happy fans joyfully celebrated. Logan
County finished with just 6 hits in the victory.
Blake Treinen(3-2) went 1/3 of an inning allowing no runs for the victory.
Trevor Bauer(0-1) was the losing pitcher in relief. He gave up 1 hit and 1
walk in 1 inning.

topped the Logan County Tweeners by a score of 6 to 4 at The Hoover
Dome.
Mansfield came up with the deciding runs in the top of the 9th inning scoring
2 runs. Carlos Santana led off and he drew a walk. Kevin Kiermaier next to
the plate and he laid down a sacrifice bunt. One out later, Cabrera then
lifted one out of the park for a two run home run. Mansfield banged out 8
hits on the night.
David Phelps(3-2) allowed no runs in 2 innings, and picked up the victory.

2 walks in 2 innings.

off in a tense pitching duel, Mansfield Buckeyes finally emerged victorious
over Logan County Tweeners, 3 to 1.
Happ earned his pay with a solid performance for Mansfield. He surrendered 4
hits and 1 walk in 5 and 1/3 innings. Happ mowed down 8 Logan County
batters. Neither team managed to score after the 2nd inning.

Buckeyes topped the Logan County Tweeners by the slimmest of margins, 5 to
4.
A.J. Schugel(2-0) was given credit for the win. He allowed 3 hits and no
walks in 1 and 1/3 innings. Matt Bowman came throught with a perfect ninth
inning to earn his 2nd save.
Nathan Karns(0-1) absorbed the loss in relief. He gave up no hits and no
walks in 2/3 of an inning. WTF.

the Mansfield Buckeyes by a score of 10 to 4.
In the 7th inning Logan County scored 9 runs with the help of 6 hits. The
critical plate appearance was by Jonathan Schoop who made the Logan County
fans a happy lot when he doubled plating three runs. Both teams ended up
with 9 hits on the afternoon.
The winning pitcher was Mike Montgomery(1-1) who allowed 2 runs in 2 innings.
Kenta Maeda(3-3) took the loss. He pitched 6 innings giving up 4 hits and 2
walks.
