Warpigs 2, Buckeyes 0

At the Buckeye Bandbox.

Game 1 - Warpigs win 8-4. The Pigs put together 6 consecutive hits and a walk in the first inning for 4 runs. They scored another 2 in the 4th thanks to 2 Buckeye errors. The Buckeyes made it interesting in the bottom of the 4th with 2-run homers from both Chase Headley and Brandon Crawford, but a 2-run shot from Robby Cano in the 8th put the icing on the cake for the Pigs. Lance Lynn (7-2) went 5 innings for the win. The loss for the Buckeyes was number 100 on the year, marking (I think) the first time a team ever reached 100 losses before June.

Game 2 - Warpigs win 7-0. Michael Wacha (2-1) threw the complete game shutout, allowing 6 hits. Scott Van Slyke had a 2-out RBI single in both the 4th and 6th innings. Going to the 7th, it was still 2-0, but Troy Tulowitzki hit a 2-run homer in the 7th, and Victor Martinez pinch hit a 3-run double in the 8th.
