Zaps 3, Fungoes 2

It was a back and forth series.
Game 1-Harvey and Hamels hooked up in a 1-1 pitcher's duel until Fungoe
Man pulled Matt because of a pitch count after six innings. When Navarro
hit a grand slam off of Perkins in the home half of the 8th inning
Harvey went nuts tearing up the dugout and the clubhouse, and rumor has
it he hurt his elbow while doing so!
Game 2-The Fungoes chase Niese early and take advantage of six walks to
counter the Zaps 3-1 edge in taters to back Medlen's complete game 8-4
triumph.
Game 3-The Zaps feast on David Price for two runs in the first and five
runs in the second. Liriano tires in the 6th but the big lead allows the
pen to curise to an 11-4 victory.
Game 4-Kershaw and Niese duel to a 3-3 tie through seven innings but the
Fungoes get an unearned run off in the top of the 9th to give Cishek the
win in relief.
Game 5-Scherzer pitches a strong seven innings to out duel Medlen in the
getaway game. The big blow is a Navarro three-run tater that gets the
scoring started in the home half of the 4th inning. The pen barely hangs
onto to the lead for a 5-4 win.
