HOFL Update with Stats


The LeftOuts and the FiftySixties are in a tie for first, 1 game ahead of the NinetyAughts.

Some individual highlights: Gaylord Perry (CIN) tossed a 2-hitter against Chicago in a 5-2 win. Randy Johnson (BOS) struck out 15 in a 5-1 win over Chicago, but then got hammered by St. Louis, giving up 1st inning, back-to-back-to-back homers to Bonds, McGwire, and ARod. Ironically, this happened on Steroid Day at the ballpark.

Jackie Robinson (BAL), well known for his power, had a 3-homer game, one of which was a grand slam. Warren Spahn (BRK) and Vic Willis (PGH) both tossed complete game shutouts.
