Rhinos vs the AWD

Rhinos 5, Killer Bees 5
Rhinos 2, VuvuZuckers 3
Rhinos 3, Sidewinders 7

Two biggest news flashes: Jair Jurrjens threw a no-hitter for the Bees, allowing only 3 walks in the 6-0 victory over the Rhinos.

The Snakes and VuvuZelas tied for the AWD title with records of 97-65. Per NASOMA tie-breaker rules, the Sidewinders and Vuvus will play a 1-game playoff to determine which team wins the division (and gets a bye in the first round), and which team has to turn around and play on the road the next day as a wild card. The home team for the 1-game playoff will be determined by a roll of the 20-sided die by the Commissioner.

Game details from Colonel Rhino...

Rhinos go 3-2 vs Bees

It was one of those typical series between the Bees and Rhinos, 4 of 5 games were determined by 1 run and could of gone either way, luckily the high priced Rhino bullpen came through.
Game 1 - Rhinos get shut out 1 - 0 by Hansen as the Rhino bats couldn't put together two consecutive hits.
Game 2 - Trailing 6 to 7 in the 8th Kemp singled stole second and with 2 outs Dickerson doubled and Hanley followed up with a single to give the Rhinos an 8-7 win.
Game 3 - Rhinos win 5 to 4 on 8 strong innings from Millwood, Bell picked up a nervous save.
Game 4 - Rhinos win another close one 4 to 3, with Bell rounding out his season with a save.
Game 5 - Is one for the Bees record books with Jurrjens pitching a no-hitter against the Rhinos and was only 3 walks from a perfect game.

From Beeboy...
Jose - Bees take 3 of 5 at the Hive. Attached are the .html files. Somehow I must have deleted the game files and subsets for our series. I had a discrepancy in my record/stats within the game and in my spreadsheet (which I update periodically). In trying to find the errors, I think I deleted a few files by accident. Sorry, but I guess you will have to manually enter these stats.

(Editor's note: The above is NASOMAspeak for "Blow me. That's what you get for taking so long to play these games. Oh, and I have great calves.")

From Colonel Rhino...
Rhinos go 2-3 vs Zapper
Game 1 goes to Zappers 10 - 2 as Fielder hit a grand slam in the 7th to pull away for good.
Game 2 Hero for the Rhino's was Votto who homered twice with a runner on giving the Rhinos a 9 to 5 victory.
Game 3 Greinke silenced the Rhinos bats allowing on 2 hits and picked-up the 4 to 1 win.
Game 4 Millwood walked 10 Zapper batters in 5 innings which lead to a 13 to 1 route of the Rhinos.
Game 5 A-Rod has 4 hits and scored 3 times as the Rhinos get by the Zaps 6 -3

From Snakeman...
Snakes in second place in the AWD playing the RhinoSultans

5/17--Snakes get 4 in the first and hold on for a 7-4 win. Mauer , Hill and Braun hit homeruns.

8/12 Snakes win big behind Ubaldo 15-4.
8/13 SultanRhinos pound Snake pitching 7-0. Badenhop and 2 relievers combine for the shutout. Braun, Hanley, Infante and Votto hit taters.

Snakes finsihed the regular season by netpalying the last 5 games at the rhinos. We needed to sweep to win the division.
4/3--Tejada doubles in Bartlett in the top of the 12th for a SSW 1-0 win. Wuertz gets the victory, Thornton the loss.
4/4 the battle of 2 run HRs is won by the snakes 3-1(Kubel hit two, wright and Kemp added one each for the final score Snakes 6 Rhinos 2.) Thornton the loser, Soriano the winner.
4/5 Snakes get to Z Duke early and hang on for the 10-5 win. 7 HR in the game.
6/27 Peavy and Breslow combine on the 2 hit shutout. Snakes tack on late for the 8-0 victory. Heading into the final game of the year, we can win the division if we win the game......
6/28 The Rhinos trampled our climax(so to speak) by winning the final game 10-1. Snakes score first but watch the vaunted Rhino attack score 10 unanswered. Millwood pitches the complete game victory.
