The report from the DVgeek...
DVs figured out how to silence the Buckeye bats holding them to a .206 average on 34 hits and 13 runs in the 5 games. They didn’t hit a homer (DVs hit 7), and Maddux turned in a 1.54 ERA in two starts, but ended 0-1. DVs actually dropped the first game 8-7, then reeled off 5-4, 7-1, 5-0 and 1-0 wins, with the much maligned DV bullpen providing 15 scoreless innings over the set.
DVs move to 53-35.
