Game 1 - Rhinos win 5-0. Gerritt Cole with the complete game 5-hitter.
Game 2 - Rhinos win 11-2. Trevor Story had 3 hits, including a double and a homer. Aaron Nola went the distance.
Game 3 - Rhinos win 6-5. This one hurt. The Pigs led 5-2 going to the bottom of the 9th. Here's what happened next:
- RF-x (rf-3e0) - double
- SS-x (ss-3e29) - single, runners on the corners
- Walk on the pitcher's card. Bases loaded
- Walk on the pitcher's card (same roll). Run scores, bases still loaded.
- Single on the pitcher's card (only hit in that column). 2 runs score, game tied. Corners
- Single on the pitcher's card (Single 1-3, lineout). Game over.
A rarity in the box score: Raisel Iglesias received credit for a Hold, but was also tagged with the Loss. He came into a save situation, and when he left, we still had the lead (hence, the hold). His successor on the mound allowed his runners to score, however, giving him the loss.
Game 4 - Warpigs win 5-2. Anthony Desclafani allowed 1 run in 6 innings for the win. Raisel Iglesias earned the save. Three interesting tidbits about this game... First, the Pigs tied a team-record with 8 bases. Also, the game ended on a runner trying to tag from 2nd on a fly ball. I half expected a cuckoo clock to go off. And the third thing is, Raisel Iglesias went 2/3 of an inning to earn the save, but in the "Batters faced" column, it has zero. He came on with runners at 2nd & 3rd and 1 out. The batter hit a SF, with the trail runner getting nailed at 3rd. Very odd.
Game 5 - Rhinos win 9-4. Story and Kemp homered.
