Unless something really weird happens, it appears our playoff teams are going to be the Rhinos from the BUD, the Bees and Snakes from the AWD, the Drillers and DVs from the NERDD, and either the Inmates or Buckeyes from the MFD. In fact, at the moment those are the only seven teams in the league over .500.
So I guess you need to make a decision about the playoffs. It appears 4 of the 6 teams will be from outside Texas. Does that mean a Netplay postseason? Or do you want to come here to play? Or somewhere else? And if so, when? And if you come here, do you prefer the Driller Digs or the Warpig Suites? I'm sure I speak for the Driller Dude when I say either is available.
Here are the possible weekends:
Oct. 31 -Nov. 2
Nov. 7-9
Nov. 14-16
Nov. 21-23
Nov. 28-30 (Thanksgiving is the 27th)
Dec. 5-7
Dec. 12-14
Dec. 19-21
But that's only if you play face to face. If you netplay, then you can play pretty much whenever, as long as you play within whatever deadlines the Commisioner sets.
You guys talk among yourselves and let the rest of us know. I'd hate to see a netplay post season, but I understand the monetary savings it would aide.
Reminder... All regular season games must be completed by Halloween. All final stats are due by Thanksgiving weekend.

I'll probably send a note to those involved as well - but DVs are going to be tight from a schedule perspective, I literally have something scheduled or an obligation on every weekend until Dec. 13. However - here are the weekends in best to worst order.
*Dec 13 - preferred option
*Dec 19 - weekend before Christmas - yikes.
*Nov 15
*Nov 29 - although this is Thanksgiving, getting a Friday/Sat playoff would avoid the travel crush, and fares might not be too bad. Have not checked with Mrs. DV however(!)
The Dec 6th weekend would be conditional if TU doesn't make the CUSA championship game - which we will have a better idea in the next 2 weeks.
All the others are a firm "OUT"

12/19 - 12/21
12/5 - 12/7
All other weekends are out the window for me. I do not object to having the playoffs via netplay; it would suck, but it would be free...
