Just wondering...

All through these playoff games I keep hearing that more people get their coffee from Dunkin' Donuts than anywhere else. That can't possibly be true, can it? There is a Starbucks on every corner (two on some), and I can't tell you right now where a single Dunkin' Donuts is. There is even a Starbucks inside the nearest Tom Thumb grocery store now.

I don't drink coffee, but that just seems like a ridiculous statement.

Starbuck's coffee is very bitter and way overpriced. It caters to people who prefer to feel special about themselves through what they put in their coffee rather than simply drinking good coffee, black.

Interestingly, while Duncan Donuts stores are getting rare, that Tom Thumb carries their brand of coffee on the shelves. Those may be included in the numbers. And yes, it is very good coffee. So is McDonald's coffee.

I think Dunkin' Donuts is a big thing in pretty much every part of the country but here. I know it's HUGE in Boston and there are a bunch Vegas, too.

That may be, but there are still twice as many Starbucks as there are Dunkin Donuts.
