NADS 3 at WAHOOS 2
May 11th - Castro was a thorn in the side of the hometown fans as he enjoyed a fine day
at their team's expense. He ripped a solo home run in the 1st inning, laced
a single in the 3rd inning, blasted a solo shot in the 7th inning and slapped
a base-hit in the 9th inning. Chicago had 18 hits for the afternoon while
SGP had 7.
May 12th – Game 1 – Wahoos crushed the Chicago Nads 16 to 5. Gallo was in a groove all day. He lofted a three-run 'big-fly' in the 1st
inning, cleared the fences for a two-run home run in the 6th inning and
slapped a base-hit scoring a run in the 7th inning. SGP bats were very
productive in the 1st inning which saw them score 11 runs on 11 hits.
Chicago was out-hit by SGP, 22 hits to 11.
May 12th – Game 2 - Logan Morrison knocked 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at The Reservation where the Chicago Nads beat the SGP Wahoos by the score of 9 to 6. Morrison had a big evening at the plate. He smacked a single in the 2nd
inning, popped a two-run clout over the fence in the 3rd inning and smashed a
bases-empty 'big-fly' in the 6th inning. Even though they scored in 5
different innings, SGP was not able to pull off the win.
August 7th - Left fielder Marcell Ozuna collected 2 extra-base hits and had 3 RBI at The
Reservation where the SGP Wahoos beat the Chicago Nads 7 to 2.
August 8th - Second baseman Brian Dozier launched 2 homeruns at The Reservation as the
Chicago Nads beat the SGP Wahoos in 10 innings 6 to 5.
The game was deadlocked at 4 after nine full innings. Chicago ended up
winning it in the 10th inning.
WAHOOS 2 at NADS 3
June 29th - R.A. Dickey(2-3) and Kyle Gibson(0-2) locked horns in
a pitcher's duel with Dickey and the Chicago Nads coming out on
top of the SGP Wahoos 2 to 0. Chicago jumped out to the early lead
in the first inning as they scored 2 runs on 4 base hits. That
was all the runs Dickey needed. Neither team managed to score after
the 1st inning.
June 30th - Jaime Garcia blanked SGP allowing just 3 hits at The Ball Sack as the Chicago Nads beat the SGP Wahoos 8 to 0.
July 1st - One run was the difference at The Ball Sack as the Chicago Nads defeated the SGP Wahoos 3 to 2.
August 18th - Third baseman Kyle Seager rocketed 2 homeruns and
had 4 RBI as the SGP Wahoos defeated the Chicago Nads 7 to 6 at
The Ball Sack. Seager was unconscious all day. The Chicago fans
hated to see him approaching the batter's box as he just kept
delivering base hits! He launched a three-run homer in the 3rd
inning, delivered a base-hit in the 5th inning,ripped a solo
home run in the 7th inning and ripped a single in the 9th
inning.
August 19th - The SGP Wahoos edged the Chicago Nads in 10 innings
at The Ball Sack by the score of 4 to 3.The score was tied at 3
after nine. SGP won the hard fought contest in the 10th inning.
