Fungoes 4, Wahoos 1

Fungoes and Wahoos played 5 netplay games this evening.
Here are the results:
April 25 at WTF
Fungoes jump on Arrieta with 4 in the first and cruise to a 7-0 win.  Dan Straily and Trevor Hildenberger combine on the shutout.  Arrieta takes the loss.  Fungoes collected 10 hits while the Wahoos were held to 4.

April 26 at WTF:
Fungoes win this one 4-0 as Lance McCullers and the Fungo pen shut out the Wahoos for the second consecutive day.  Foltynewicz (who would spell their name like this??  Inmates, how the hell do you say Zciwenytlof???) takes the loss for the SGP-ers while David Robertson collects the save for the Fungoes.  Brett Gardner hit one deep for the Fungoes.

April 27 at WTF:
Wahoos finally break in that new scoreboard with a single run in the first inning.  This one turns into a battle with the Fungoes winning it 6-4.  Kershaw collects the win for the Fungi while Kyle Gibson takes the loss.  Another save for David Robertson as he collects number 12 on the season.  Kyle Seager homers for the Wahoos while Sal Perez goes deep for the Fungoes.

July 24 at WTF:
Wahoos again score first with one run in the first inning.  This back and forth game goes the Fungoes way when they plate 5 in the 7th inning to win it 6-3.  Foltynitzicxsz takes another loss for the Wahoos while Hildenberger (yep Hulkaburger) picks up a win in relief of Ian Kennedy for the Fungoes.  David Robertson picks up save number 13.  Trout goes "yard" for the Fungoes.

July 25 at WTF:
Wahoos take an early 4-0 lead.  Fungoes score 4 in the 3rd inning to tie it up.  Wahoos score 2 in the 5th and then hold on for the win, winning it 6-5.  Kyle Gibson gets the win for the Wahoos while German Marquez gets the loss.  Mark Melancon picks up the save for the Wahoos.  Seager and Fisher both homer for the Hoos while Trout and Daniel Murphy homer for the Fungoes.  

Fungoes hitters battered the Wahoo pitching at a .329 clip while Fungo pitching had a 2.20 ERA during the 5 game series.  Fungoes have evened their record up at 20-20 on the season.
