Mavs crush the hapless DVs taking 4 of 5.
G1 – A hit by pitch RBI by Chris Davis is the difference in the 8th inning as the Mavs win 5-4 (Davis hit a HR too, a sign of things to come)
G2 – Mavs use 3 pitchers who give up 3 hits in a 4-0 win. Bailey gets the win on the same evening he throws his MLB no hitter.
G3 – Mavs run up 9 runs on Lance Lynn in 3 1/3 innings in a 11-4 blowout.
G4 – Mavs hit lots of homers and win going away 7-3
G5 – DVs muster all of 4 hits to eke out a 2-1 win as the clearly dis-interested Mavs start thinking about their playoff rotation.
