Inmates 5, Buckeyes 5

Former division rivals split their season series:
INMATES 6 – BUCKEYES 5 (BuckeyeDome): Both teams hit three homers and six hits. Earl Weaver ball at its best.
BUCKEYES 4 – INMATES 2 (BuckeyeDome): Buckeyes get only five hits, but Earl Weaver a win with a three-run tater in the 5th.
INMATES 1 – BUCKEYES 0 (10 Innings)(BuckeyeDome): Buckeyes manage only one hit, as Beachy loses a no-hitter in the 8th on a gb pitcher-x single. A Rios sacfly in the 10th ices the LDMF win.
BUCKEYES 7 – INMATES 4 (10 Innings)(Baptist Bowl): Buckeyes with a four-homerun barrage, score three in 10th for the win.
BUCKEYES 8 – INMATES 2 (Baptist Bowl): Inmates finally out-tater the Buckeyes, but manage only three hits total.
BUCKEYES 8 – INMATES 3 (BuckeyeDome): Santana gets bombed, Dickey pitches well, and the LDMF suck again.
BUCKEYES 2 – INMATES 1 (BuckeyeDome): Earl Weaver ball in the 1st with a two-run Buckeye tater, then the pitcher’s duel ensues. Each team scratches out four hits.
INMATES 2 – BUCKEYES 1 (Baptist Bowl): Each team scratches out four hits redux, except the LDMF wins.
INMATES 7 – BUCKEYES 5 (Baptist Bowl): Inmates jump out to a 7-1 lead, then hang on. Beltre is a single shy of a cycle.
INMATES 4 – BUCKEYES 1 (Baptist Bowl): Parker fans 10 in 7.1, and the Inmates gain a split.
