Goofs 4, Tweeners 3

Tweeners take 3 of 7 at home vs. new AWD rivals Goofs. 3 of 7, heck that's better than a standard Tweener split. The gory details:
Game #11 – Griffin outpitches MadBum, homers by Quentin and Hamilton, Goofs win 3-1.
Game #12 - The NORM TWEENERS ended a long winless drought and edged the PHIL -SG SUPERGOOFS at the Hooverdome by the score of 3 to 2. Gio Gonzalez(3-2) gave a fine effort for NORM. He went 7 and 2/3 innings surrendering 6 hits and 1 walk reducing his ERA from 3.94 to 3.72. PHIL –SG had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short.

Sergio Romo earned the save, his 9th. Yu Darvish(0-1) took the loss. He
pitched 5 and 1/3 innings giving up 7 hits and 2 walks. 'Ahhh, that victory
was surely needed. Man alive, things were getting awfully grim,' noted
NORM's manager George Brett. 'Now, we need to string a bunch of wins together and turn things around!'

Game #13 - Catcher J.P. Arencibia launched 2 homeruns and scored 3 times as the PHIL –SG SUPER GOOFS topped the NORM TWEENERS by a score of 6 to 4 at the Hooverdome. Arencibia provided much of the offense. He clubbed a solo home run in the 5th inning, stroked a base-hit in the 6th inning and smashed a solo-shot out of the park in the 8th inning. Jordan Walden earned the save with a perfect ninth, his 1st save. The win was credited to Kyle Lohse(1-0) who went 6 and 1/3 innings allowing 4 runs. Tommy Milone(2-3) was the losing pitcher. He surrendered 13 hits and 1 walk in 5 innings.

Game #14 – Felix phoned it in, Harrison scattered 11 hits for the complete game win, score 11-2.

Game #92 – Tweeners got to Harrison for 3 in the first, Arencibia broke up Gio's no-hitter with a 6th inning homer, Tweeners prevail 7-2.

Game #93 – combined shutout for MadBum and 'Kuma, 4 Tweeners homers (2 by Rosario), 8-0 cakewalk for the good guys.

Game #94 – in the rubber match Milone is overmatched by Darvish, Goofs win 5-3.
