The Wahoos didn't get it done when it mattered. In 10 games we had a 3.21 ERA and hit .270. Also walked 45 times. Mavs hit about .250 and walked 21 times. Among the keys was the Wahoos pounding into 10 DPs and not being able to solve Jason Marquis or Miguel Batista. Scott Baker and Gil Meche gave up 25 of the 37 runs we allowed in their combined 6 starts. Dustin Moseley, in his only scheduled start of the year, threw a complete-game shutout for the Wahoos in the finale to even the series.
