Fungoes take 3 of 5 from the Bees at WTF
June 7:
Clayton Kershaw threw a 1 hit shutout improving his record to 7-3. Fungoes win 9-0.
Jared Weaver takes the loss for the Bees.
Kershaw was too much for the Bees. He allowed just three base runners over
nine innings lowering his ERA to 1.86.
June 8:
David Price dominated the Bee's striking out 11 batters at WTF Field as the Fungoes
came out on top, 7-3. Price (8-4) allowed only 5 hits and 3 walks in 9
innings. Ervin Santana was the loser. Mike Trout banged out 3 hits
and drove in 2.
June 9:
The Bees just wouldn't go away in this one and come back to win it 4-3. Alex Wood
picks up the win while Jake Diekman grabs the save. Kyle Gibson takes the loss for the Fungoes.
August 15:
Kershaw is too much for the Bees once again as the Fungoes win this one 4-1.
Papelbon picks up his 17th save while Mike Minor get the loss. Kershaw improves to 8-3.
August 16:
Killer Bees score early and take a 6-0 lead. Fungoes score 2 in the 6th and 2 more in the 7th
to make it 6-4 but that is as close as they can get. Bees win it 7-4. Weaver gets the win while
Diekman picks up another save. Tanner Roark takes the loss for the Fungoes.
