Netplayed. Both games at The BallPork
Game 1 - Warpigs win 2-1. An excellent pitcher's duel between Shelby Miller and Adam Wainwright came down to another pitcher - Stephen Strasburg - stealing the spotlight. Miller had the Pigs shut out going into the bottom of the 8th, but Brandon Crawford led off the inning with a walk. Miller was replaced by Luis Avilan, but pinch hitter Cody Ross greeted him with a triple, tying the game. After an out, Strasburg was sent up to the plate where he executed a squeeze bunt, scoring Ross with the go-ahead run. Casey Fien finished off the Tweeners in the 9th for his 10th save. Pablo Sandoval homered for the Tweakers.
Game 2 - Warpigs win 5-1. Wily Peralta (7-13) went the distance, allowing only 3 hits. Yadier Molina went 3-4 with a pair of doubles and 2 RBI. MadBum took the loss. Brandon Crawford tied a team record with 3 sacrifice bunts.
