Gm 1 @ Stanley Stadium - Sidewinders win 5-4 in 10 innings. David Wright hit a 2-out, 2-run single off of Casey Fien in the bottom of the 10th for the win. Brandon Crawford had homered in the top of the inning off of Aroldis Chapman to give the Pigs the lead. Melky Cabrera hit a 2-out, 2-run homer in the top of the 9th off of Craig Kimbrel to tie the game. Chapman got the win. Nick Tepesch (0-1) took the loss.
Gm 2 @ Stanley Stadium - Warpigs win 5-3. The Snakes led 2-1 into the 8th when the Pigs put together a rare rally. Alejandro De Aza homered to tie the game, and then Yoenis Cespedes blasted a 3-run shot to put the game out of reach. Adam Wainwright (3-2) went 7 for the win. Tyler Lyons recorded his first save. Somebody named Cody Allen - who won the right to suit up and play in a pre-game drawing among the paying customers - took the loss in relief.
Gm 3 @ The BallPork - Sidewinders win 7-5. Every Snake hit in this game (and in the SERIES!) came on chances of 1-4 or less. The Snakes had FIVE HITS on ss-x chances, and he is a 2, for cryin' out loud! David Wright homered twice (the first was HR 1-2, fly; the second was HR 1-4, fly - I ain't lyin'). The gritty Warpigs made it interesting with three in the 8th and two more in the 9th, but overcoming Kimbrel was too much to handle - especially for the league's worst hitting team. Jon Lester got the win.
Gm 4 @ The BallPork - Sidewinders win 1-0. Jake Peavy, Chapman, and Kimbrel were masterful, combining on a 1-hit shutout. The one hit, a single by Albert Pujols in the 5th, was followed immediately by a ss-x roll. Jhonny Peralta, A FUCKING FOUR, turned the 6-4-3 double play. The Snake run scored in the 8th when the 2e3 in CF for the Pigs let a ball drop for a single. Stephen Strasburg (2-3) struck out 10 in 7 innings, but took the loss.
Gm 5 @ The BallPork - Sidewinders win 2-1. Whatever. May luck continue to be with you when you play the DVs. May you forget to not trust a fart. May you fall into your brother's bush (again).

Sounds a lot like the series the SSWs played at the draft with the Wahoos. (yeah, we went 1-9 and got lucky to win that).
