Drillers 3, Warpigs 2
at the Mud Pit...
Game 1 - Drillers 6, Warpigs 2 - Tim Lincecum lost his shutout in the 9th on another Albert Pujols homer. Andy LaRoche (or is it Adam?) went 3-for-3.
Game 2 - Drillers 17, Warpigs 3 - I can't begin to tell you how much fun this fucking game was to play. The entire Driller lineup contributed, but the two biggest were Derek Jeter and David Murphy, who combined to go 4-for-6 with 5 walks, 7 runs scored, and 9 RBI. The Drillers had 14 hits and 13 walks.
at the Pig Sty...
Game 3 - Warpigs 3, Drillers 2 - Cliff Lee's chance of 20 wins is already history, but he pitched well anyway. Cody Ross and Miguel Olivo homered for the Pigs.
Game 4 - Drillers 7, Warpigs 3 - Josh Beckett got hammered during the game; I got hammered after.
Game 5 - Warpigs 6, Drillers 3 - John Lackey shocked everyone by going the distance and NOT sucking. Pujols and Adam Lind homered.

a pretty good indication of how bad the pig offense is... in these 5 games, the pigs struck out 41 times while managing to draw a massive FOUR walks.
