Game One- Bonifacio opened the scoring with a two-run shot in the 2nd,
but the Zap bats woke up to score five runs on four taters and the pen
sealed the 5-2 deal for the home team in the opener.
Game Two- The Bees had a 2-1 lead going into the fifth, but the Zaps
scored multiple in the next four frames to take control led by Cutche’s
two taters and triumph 11-2.
Game Three-Granderson opened the scoring with a tater in the 2nd, but
the Zaps score four in the bottom of the frame. The flood gates opened
in the 8th when the Zaps scored eight to demolish the visitors 15-1.
Game Four-Bautista hit a solo shot, and Pearce later hit an Earl Weaver
special in the first inning to set the tone for Niese to pitch a lights
out five-hit shutout as the good guys won 6-0.
Game Five- The Bees scored three runs on two taters in the sixth, and a
three run eighth sealed the deal as the Bees salvaged the getaway game 7-5.
