9 May In a dramatic ending at Driller Park the SHAWN DRILLERS won in their last
at-bat beating the DAVE NADS by the count of 2 to 1. The deciding run was scored
by SHAWN in the bottom of the 9th. Christian Yelich slapped a single. Maikel
Franco stepped up next and he singled. Josh Donaldson was a strikeout victim,
unable to help out. Melky Cabrera came up and he hit a sacrifice fly giving SHAWN
the win as 40,400 happy fans joyfully celebrated. DAVE had 8 hits in the game
while SHAWN had 5, but SHAWN had the more timely hits.
10 May In an entertaining game at Driller Park the final score was the SHAWN DRILLERS
4, the DAVE NADS 1. SHAWN promptly took the lead in their half of the first as they scored 3 runs
on 2 base hits. That was all the offense they were to need. SHAWN had 7
hits for the night.
16 July Erick Aybar had 2 base hits as the DAVE NADS defeated the SHAWN DRILLERS by
the score of 6 to 3 at Driller Park.
17 July The DAVE NADS nipped the SHAWN DRILLERS 3 to 2 at Driller Park in a hard
fought contest. DAVE wasted no time and took the lead in the first inning scoring a single run
utilizing 2 base hits. SHAWN threatened in the 9th but their rally came up
short.
18 July Dallas Keuchel went 9 strong innings and right fielder Charlie Blackmon
homered and had 2 RBI as the SHAWN DRILLERS outscored the DAVE NADS 9 to
0.
