Pigs 2, Hoos 0
A summer afternoon with cards and dice... just like the old days.
Gm 1 - Pigs win 3-2 - Going into the bottom of the 9th, the Wahoos led 2-1 thanks to plating triples in both the 3rd and 4th innings. The Pigs had done nothing against Fausto Carmona except a solo shot from Jim Thome way back in the 2nd. But Albert Pujols led off with a single, bringing on Brian Fuentes. Pinch hitter Donnie Murphy drew a walk, and Geovanny Soto ended the game with a double, scoring Pujols and pinch-runner Clayton Richard. Heath Bell, in relief of Trevor Cahill, got the win.
Gm 2 - Pigs win 4-1 - Cliff Lee and four relievers kept the Wahoos at bay, and homers from Pujols and Magglio Ordonez did the damage in the win.
