The first round series is going on right now at the Pigsty. I'll update periodically.
Game 1 - Sidewinders 8, Wahoos 6. Both teams scored 3 in the first inning.
Game 2 - Wahoos 4, Sidewinders 0. Scott Baker with the complete game shutout.
Game 3 - Wahoos 10, Sidewinders 2. Thru the first three games, The Wahoos have scored 10 first inning runs. All of the runs in this game were scored in the first two innings.
Game 4 - Sidewinders 4, Wahoos 3. Series tied.
Game 5 - Wahoos 6, Sidewinders 3. Wahoos take a 3 games to 2 lead as the series heads back to the Snakepit.
Game 6 - Sidewinders 4, Wahoos 3. In what has become the longest (in time) series ever played in one sitting, the Snakes' Joe Mauer hit a 2-out single to score Aaron Hill from second. Scott Baker took his scoreless streak into the 7th inning before Carlos Beltran hit a game-tying 3-run homer.
Game 7 - Wahoos 7, Sidewinders 1. The Wahoos scored 5 runs in the first inning. Carlos Zambrano sucked... again. Gil Meche went the distance. The Wahoos move on to the second round.
Carlos Zambrano's 2-start totals: 1.2 innings. 8 hits. 7 walks. 11 earned runs.
