DVs take 4 of 5, getting the first 4 and having the Halladay Fiasco and his 24-5 record on the bump for game 5. Of course the Goofs took game 5 in complete unrealistic fashion, pulling Zito in the second, and Torii Hunter hitting 2 homers off of The Fiasco. The Goofs wait 147 games before realizing they had a fully rested bullpen as they utilized Broxton, Adams, Hoffman, Brocail and Affeldt for 29 1/3 of the 41 innings in the series.
The DVs move to within 3 games of the Drillers in the NERDD. The DVs have 30 games remaining; the Drillers have only 8 - all vs the DVs.
