Inmates 3, Goofs 2

All games at the Baptist Bowl (the Goofs made the journey) but via computer.

 

Inmates 9 – Goofs 7 (Baptist Bowl): Very ugly see-saw game. Jones hit a game-winning groundout (!) in the 8^th for the win. Pierzynski, Drew and Jones all tater for the Inmates.

 

Inmates 1 – Goofs 0 (Baptist Bowl): Both teams manage only four hits, but faulty Goof defense allows the only run of the game to score when Beltre reached on an error by Phillips, and later scored on a sac fly by Marte. Griffin is robbed of a pitching gem.

 

Inmates 4 – Goofs 2 (Goofy Dome): Another see-saw game, and another great pitching performance by Griffin. Parra’s 8^th-inning single plates the winning run for the Inmates.

 

Goofs 10 – Inmates 1 (Goofy Dome): A butt-ugly game. Jones (CF 1(e2)) commits his 5^th error of the year (fuck you, HAL); Brandon Phillips hits a grand slam, Marte steals 2^nd and 3^rd, only to be wiped out in a 7-2 DP, and the LDMF showed up at an inopportune time.

 

Goofs 2 – Inmates 1 (Goofy Dome): Straily allows a 2-run tater off his card, and Segura hits into a 6-4-3 DP with the bases loaded and one out in the 9^th. Shitfuck. The 2-8 roll would have resulted in a successful suicide squeeze to tie the game. Fuckshit.
