The Warpigs won with 920 losses, finishing 5 losses ahead of the Killer Bees and 6 ahead of the Zaps. The final few weeks were nip and tuck between the three teams, but the Pigs pulled ahead thanks to the hot streak of Cleveland and the suck streak of the White Sox. The Warpigs pulled this off despite having as one of their teams the Boston Red Sox, who tied with the Cardinals for the best record in baseball.
The Final Standings were:
1. Warpigs, 920
2. Killer Bees, 915
3. Zaps, 914
4. Sidewinders, 910
5. Drillers, 905
6. Wahoos, 903
7. Rhinos, 902
8. DVs, 900
9. FFTs, 894
10. Inmates, 891
11. Fungoes, 882
12. Mavs, 877
13. Tweeners, 874
14. Buckeyes, 868
15. SuperGoofs, 832
16. Nads, DNP (again)
For the record, the top losers were:
1. Astros, 111
2. Marlins, 100
3. White Sox, 99
4-5. Cubs and Twins, 96
6. Mariners, 91
7. Phillies, 89
8-11. Rockies, Brewers, Mets, and Blue Jays, 88
Everybody had Houston, and everybody except the Goofs had Miami, but oddly, only 3 teams picked the White Sox. Those 3 teams finished 1, 2, and 7.
There's a link on the NASOMA home page showing your picks.
