Behind a remarkable technological breakthrough, the DVs eke out a 1-1 series at home and then take 2 at the HooverDome. Instead of Netplay, the DVs and Tweeners stumbled upon the "LogMeIn" shared desktop application- allowing us to play as if we were sitting next to each other and playing the 'normal' game interface. Of course the normal "TIME!" exclamation was not available, so the standard protocol was for the hitting team to swing away - while hesitating for just a couple of seconds over the dice to allow the defending team the opportunity to wrest control of the mouse in potential crucial situations. It worked without interruption, and the in between game setup was remarkably easier as well. And though it didn't come into play in these 4 games, the EQA is also available if needed.
Game scores:
Game 1 - @DVs 2 Tweeners 0
Game 2 - Tweeners 6 @DVs 3
Game 3 - DVs 5 @Tweeners 3
Game 4 - DVs 6 @Tweeners 4 (notable in this game was the Tweeners brilliant 8th inning pinch hit of Alex Presley for Wil Venable, which was followed by a 3-8 roll which turned a HR/3B chance into a K with the go ahead runs on base. I guess the PC still does suck).
