RHINOS 11 – INMATES 8 (14 innings – Baptist Bowl): Inmates cruise into the 9^th with an 8-2 lead when the wheels fall off. The lowlight of the inning comes when Pierzynski tosses a throw into left field on a steal attempt of 3^rd to allow a run to score – TWICE in the same inning. With both staffs needing to watch innings the game heads into the 14^th (Inmates managed only one hit after the 5^th inning…) when Bastard-O decides to throw strikes for the first time this season. The Rhinos score three to ice the game.

 

INMATES 8 – RHINOS 4 (Baptist Bowl): Jones, Pierzynski, Espinosa, and Teixeira all tater for the Beakless Chicken Gang as Jackson takes it on the chin for the Rhinos.

 

INMATES 5 – RHINOS 4 (Baptist Bowl): A see-saw battle ends with a Rios walk-off homer in the 9^th with two outs.

 

RHINOS 4 – INMATES 2 (Baptist Bowl): Norris hits the floor, the Inmates can’t capitalize on 10 hits, and the Rhinos win.

 

INMATES 2 – RHINOS 1 (The Preserve): Beckett allows a 2-run one-out homer to Cargo in the first, then tosses a no-hitter the rest of the way. The Rhinos can’t take advantage and lose.

 

INMATES 9 – RHINOS 3 (The Preserve): Inmates pound out 17 hits, and a Rhino rally in the 9^th falls six runs short.

 

INMATES 5 – RHINOS 0 (The Preserve): Stults starts for the Inmates due to innings issues, and throws a 3-hit shutout. Drew has 4 RBI with a double and a tater.
