My vote can probably be bought (or coerced). But my initial reaction is that if cards are issued for players based on actual prior year performance these are "carded players" as that term is used in our Constitution. Or if we determine this qualifies as a "new rule" from S-O-M, then they will be included unless rejected by a two-thirds vote. My analysis may be clouded by the chance to free up the reserve spot that is earmarked for Shelby Miller.
I guess that a carded player is a carded player. It will water down the value of the reserve picks, but the way I see it if a manager wants to draft one of these guys and doesn't have a reserve pick then they are basically playing with one guy less and that is their choice. Then there will be some teams "read Rhinos" that will always draft 2 or 3 of these guys and wait for them to develop. On the other hand it would also allow for teams in the rebuilding process to rebuild quicker.

We will need to decide soon if the "Bonus Cards" are in play this year. And whether we will use the individual pitchers; batting cards.
I say we use them!
