Can't make Unit, Pedro, or Smoltz first ballot HoFers... But they're maybe worthy by the third.

If I had a ballot and could vote for up to 10 players, I think I would go ahead and vote for 10 players. And my ballot would include:
    B.Bonds
    M.McGwire
    L.Walker
    J.Bagwell
    E.Martinez
    A.Trammell
    R.Clemens
    R.Johnson
    P.Martinez
    J.Smoltz

The PED thing is still the big issue, and I've always been on the other side of it when it comes to the HOF, but I've been swayed. I think all of the guys above deserve to be in (with the possible exception of Trammell).

But if I were predicting who gets in this year, I'd say The Big Unit, Pedro, and Smoltz... with Biggio instead of Smoltz a possibility.

Interesting how everyone who voted for the PEDers still left out Sosa and his 600 HRs.

  9. Sosa was cheating with corked bats before the PEDs so he gets the two strike "no vote"!!!
